Your role as the Application and Credit Processor is the review and approval of credit applications for a portfolio of properties, analyzing income and credit screening reports, monitoring the application file compliance and move-in activity for the portfolio.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial compliance and move in activity for the portfolio of Apartment Communities.
  • Review and approve (through application software) prospective resident applications including review of credit, criminal reports, income verifications, child support verifications, asset verifications, and other addendums and affidavits necessary to prove compliance and credit worthiness.
  • Track and analyze screening trends including scores, days to approval, reasons for denial.
  • Provide daily customer service to property portfolio by answering questions and offering guidance to both onsite team members and applicants as appropriate.
  • Performing and overseeing the internal audit of monthly lease activities for the portfolio.
  • Application and Credit Process training for all new on-site office team members within the portfolio.
  • Communication with vendors and agencies for reporting and processing.
  • The role may also involve other tasks and projects as assigned by leadership. This includes, but is not limited to, special initiatives, organizational priorities, or ad-hoc assignments that align with the needs of the team and business goals. Flexibility and adaptability to take on new challenges is expected.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Experience in residential property management preferred.
  • Must be well-organized and able to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in current technology.
  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • Proven track record in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with management team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with senior executives and in teams.
  • High School diploma required College degree preferred.

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
